For the first time in a long time I’m really anticipating the release of a new game. Anticipating it in my bones. This has the potential to be one of the greatest games of whenever the heck it’s launched. Even better than Duke Nukem Forever. If Blizzard sticks to their successful format and doesn’t change the game beyond all recognition.

Out of the blue it hit me; I can’t think of one superhero who has a mother or was raised by a biological mother. I had this issue with Disney as well when i noticed that for the longest time the mother was always killed off. The exception I think is only Mulan and Lion King.

Of course I could be wrong, but please educate me if I am. If I’m correct and if there are any comic book writers out there: “Why do you hate your mothers?”

The Good:
Inviting game play and puzzle solving which keeps the player engaged and wanting more.

The Bad:
Minor touch screen oddness.
Rough on people who dislike anthropomorphic giant chickens.

That’s almost as cheap as the Xbox HD-DVD drives are going to be!

Happy Birthday my 8 nubbed friend. May you continue to snap together with your cohorts in a vaguely sexual manner for many years to come.
